RAFA Flying Scholarships
Once again The RAF Association (RAFA), in collaboration with the Air League Educational Trust, is offering suitable Cadets from the ATC and CCF(RAF) the chance to gain awards of either up to 35, or up to 12 hours flying training, in light aircraft. The Scheme’s primary aim is to encourage young people’s interest and participation in flying whilst, at the same time, being able to express appreciation to the Cadets for the considerable amount of hard work and effort by many Cadets on RAFA’s behalf, especially relating to the annual Wings Appeal.
Each year, the overall winning Cadet is awarded 35 hours and four Cadets are each awarded 12 hours flying training; allowing the award-holders to obtain, or considerably enhance their path towards the completion of a National Private Pilot Licence (NPPL).
