Top shot
Sergeant Argo from 2452 (Shawlands) squadron was presented with the Patriotic Shield. The shield is awarded to the best cdt from ATC ACF & SCC who shoots in the Patriotic 300 yards shooting competition at Bisley using the L81 7.62 mm target rifle. He was the top cadet in this shoot out of 500 plus cdts from the three services.
They fire two sighters followed by seven shots to count and if they get over 33 they fire three tie shots. Now the scoreing he scored 35.2 out of a possible 35.7. A bull is worth 5pts and an inner bull known as a V bull is worth .1.So he got 5 bulls incl 2 inner bulls.
