The squadron is run by Flight Lieutenant Amanda Crawley who has recently taken command of the unit and is supported by 5 other committed and experienced staff. These staff provide a wide range of activities for the cadets There are over 20 cadets (both male and female) on the squadron with ages ranging from 13 to over 18 years old.

The keen and eager cadets take part in a wide range of activities. There is Flying, Gliding and Shooting, lots of Sports as well as Flight Simulation and Power Kiting. The cadets also support the local community by taking part in various Conservation Projects.

Any new recruit coming to the squadron is invited down to discuss with Flight Lieutenant Crawley and parents what the ATC can offer them. If they like what they can do then they are shown around the squadron by Warrant Officer McLennan.

To get to the squadron take a bus that heads along Seaforth Road then follow the signs for the TA Centre.
