The Commanding Officer of 1195 Irvine Squadron is Flight Lieutenant Helen Johnston, her staff are Flying Officer Brian Phillips, Adult Warrant Officer King and Civilian Instructors Dickson, Russell, Muirhead, Gormley and Bell.

The Squadron meets every Tuesday and Thursday 19:30 (7:30pm) until 21:30 (9:30pm), the Squadron address is :-

The squadron takes part in many activities including Sports, Projects, Adventure Training, Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and community involvement this is in addition to the normal syllabus of Aviation based subjects.

On the first night a new cadet will meet the Commanding Officer where basic information will be taken, some basic squadron information will be provided then you will be given a tour of the prenises and then introduced to the cadets from there they will participate in the activities.

By joining 1195 squadron you get the chance to increase your personal development i.e. leadership/discipline. You will also have the opportunity to be part of a large National organisation. In addition to making lots of new friends, you get to take part in many different cadet activities including Flying and Gliding.
